Who We Are

About the GSCSS

The Global Student Commercial Space Society (GSCSS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization for students to advocate and develop a permanent commercial/private human presence in space through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, or STEAM, disciplines.

The Global Student Commercial Space Society (GSCSS) is a society of students dedicated to a cause greater than themselves: advocating and developing a permanent commercial/private human presence in space through Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, or STEAM, disciplines.

History of the GSCSS

Established in 2015, the GSCSS strives to create a global network of students advocating the development of commercial and private space.  The GSCSS vision is to connect Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, or STEAM, students from all around the world to discuss, collaborate, and advocate for the nascent commercial and private space industry.  The GSCSS believes that it is critical to have students, the vanguard for tomorrow's private space efforts, understanding and thinking about the future of commercial and private space today.

Vision

To captivate and engage STEAM students to become advocates for the development of commercial and private space, empowering those students as catalysts for, and future leaders of, a permanent private human presence in space.
